I've been having a look around on the net to see if I can get me a bargain. No joy yet. But found these (exactly the same as yesterdays one). This one sold on German EBay for over $2500 a few months ago! This one in mint condintion is available on Spain Ebay for over $1700 This used one sold for about $1500 a while ago! I bought mine 'cuz I wanted a Floyd Strat with Duncans, and I got killer deal on it (way less than I could've picked up a comparable strat). I'm a Maiden fan, but I don't buy into the whole signature gear thing. They are very nice guitars, though. About a week after I bought mine a guy offered me $1000 for it, and I've seen them sell on eBay for around that, and things being worth whatever someone will pay, the IM Strat is worth that. Jeez, its just a strat with a floyd rose and some fancy pickups on it. If you ask me, the quarter pound honestly isn't all that good anyways! Original Floyd Rose: $175.00 Duncans: Approx $200.00 Wiring and Pickguard: $40.00 Tuners: $50.00 That's over $450 right there, and you haven't bought the body and neck, and as an owner of several higher end Fenders, that neck would push over $200 to replace IF you could find one. No, it's not the same guitar.
