Well, I don't want to say anything bad about anyone (especially not with that big $$$ court decision coming down against a libelous internet poster! :D ) but I think it's fair to say that my own dealings with Torres Engineering have been less than stellar. I personally wouldn't use them again but I wouldn't discourage anyone else. I guess I'll just say to perform your own "due diligence" and decide on your own. There, I shouldn't get sued over that, should I?

Check to see if the power tranny in your amp will handle the extra filament current. If so, then yer good. You just need a set that will bias in that range, which would mean a set that draws too much current to be used in place of an EL34.

What about KT66s?
