Members azzzy
I like Fender Pro Jr. but wish it had a 12" speaker. I wonder if anybody tried to stick it into theirs. If I were to do it I would use a Celestion Neo Vintage which is lighter as well as smaller (height-wise) - so it won't stick out of the back of the amp. I know some of you might say why don't you just get a Blues Jr.? The answer is I like how compact the Pro Jr. enclosure is. And I'd like to keep it that way. I just want a 12" speaker. Members GuitarHitman
I doubt you'd get a 12" speaker in a Pro Junior enclosure. Pro Junior's not that much more compact than a Blues Junior either. Couple of inches difference in each direction.
Members azzzy
Well, the Pro Jr. dimensions are 15-1/4"W x 14-1/2"H x 8-3/4"D. Should be enough to fit a 12" speaker as long as the chassis don't get in the way. Just wanted to see if anyone actually attempted this before I spend money on the amp.
