I think I'm going to try a jsx or I did like the Vox ac30 as well. anyone want a mesa lonestar for $1300.00? or any interesting trades? Members lpwcruzr Posted November 19, 2006 Author Members Share Posted November 19, 2006 The lonestar is a sweet amp. I wouldn't say I was directly comparing a jsx to a lonestar. I'm just looking for something a little different than a lonestar right now. I played a jsx through several different cabinets. For the clean sound I really like the jsx through a peavey penta 4x12. It was a massive difference when compared to my Marshall 1936 or any of the other peavey cabinets. Maybe it was because the penta had a partial open back.
