Members Megadeth7684
The only reason to get the block letter one back is if it still has the Sylvania tubes in it, if not, it doesn't matter at all.

Members cobrahead1030
the block letter may be worth more $$$ due to fanatical collectors in a few more years...before their used prices shot up, the block letter heads would've been a decent investment

With all intensions of gettin it back. But i mean now im seeing the signature on ebay for at least 100 less. I probly wouldnt buy mine back unless i decided to run 2 5150s. Instead of the Boosted Rectifier + 5150 Thing Im shooting for.
Members cobrahead1030
should you decide to resell your block letter several years from now tho, you may be glad you bought it back...then again the trend could finally die off, and it not be worth jack edit: btw, i saw your band pics the other day...what's the name of your band, and what venues do you guys play at? i'm not too far down the road from ya, and might be interested in trying hook up something together when my band gets out again

Members cobrahead1030
i know how that goes, my band was in a very similar situation around march...we'd just finished a cd, got into an argument about some {censored}, and our singer decided to up and leave if you've got a good thing goin on tho, do what you can to keep it together...i've seen too many bands/musicians with potential give it up, thinking something better would come along; and they're always surprised when it takes them years to find nothing maybe up your way is different, it's insanely hard to find decent musicians around here

Members BallSackOfHate
Originally posted by JoshuaLogan hope you're kidding, since they are the exact same amp... ALot of people prefer the 5150 to the 6505 with the big gay peavey logo in the middle of it instead of big numbers like the 5150. Probly wasnt talking about tone. Just the amp itself.
