Members ajruiz
I'm looking to hear from others who have had their foot switches go bad, or completely die on them. I have took mine to a repair shop and they said it was un-repairable. I have found countless people in this forum and others that have had problems ranging from, breaks in the line ( which mine has ) bad circuit boards, bad solder joints and others. I have taken mine to a shop and was told they have had many! come through and were un repairable. I have found the 7 pin midi cables online and was thinking about trying to splice it. any thoughts? or experiences?
Members BrokenRomeo
Is it the footswitch that is broken, or the connection to the amp...
Members thermionic geek
I have had my footswitch for about a week and can just tell its not going to last. The seven pin cable would be really cool but I don't want to do this myself. What a cheap piece of crap. Who at Marshall decided to connect the cable to the switch. I would be suprised if they still have a job.
Members Chudanez
My footswitch for the TSL100 momentarily stopped working but I kicked it and it started working again. My tips:Hit it with a hammer.

Members ajruiz
It's the connection to the amp. It happened once before and I cut off at least 4 feet of bad cable and it worked for about 4 months and then started shorting out again. I heard from a dealer that Marshall used very cheap components when they designed the overall footswitch.
