Members Chudanez
Carvin Legacy's are basically poor man's XTC's anyway The only tone I was extremely impressed with and loved from Vai was the songs "Oooo" and "Under it All". Ironically, I think both of them were heavilly processed. Under it All was tons of guitars with huge extrended chords where he recorded each string one at a time whereas Oooo was quite a processed 7-string song. Otherwise apart from them, I think his tone is good. Nothing to write home about though
Members Random Hero
Ahh, yeh, his tone isn't what I would label "awesome" but I do like it. His tone isn't the best on Live at the Astoria though, IMO.
Members Dmantis
After listening to various Cavin amp clips, I'm not that into the tone. I wish I could play them in person but from the clips I have no desire to.
Members Oops-A-Paisley
Different deffinately, smoother and richer with the bongers,. he used to use those ickle 1x12" cabs miked up aswell as 4x12"s much more elaborate setup me thinks maybe he "simplified" a little.
