I eventually bought DRRI but HRD would not be a bad choice as well. ...at the time I had a little extra $$ available so I went for DRRI. Man for $375,... that's a steal. He wanted the Fender sound and drive he got from his Fender The Twin (which isnt a Twin Reverb btw and not a very good amp). We loved the clean (its fender!) but the distortion wasn't as loud as we needed. He bought a used Deville instead. Personally I'm not in love with Fender's overdrive but still it's a nice amp.
