Members DennisDD
My two-year old Blues Jr. has developed a nasty characteristic: just sitting there, with nothing plugged in, it emits a high-pitched oscillation. I can tune the pitch of the squeal with the tone controls, and if I put in the FAT switch it is really pronounced. It's unusable for recording and I've had one customer at the EAgles Lodge complain. It's not a tube problem, I switched 'em all out with another set. It's still under warranty; but what do you think they'll find when I take it in this week?By the way, are any of you good folks familiar with Inner Sound here in Portland OR? Any other local factory authorized folks you might recommend?Dennis http://www.folkalley.com/openmic/song.php?id=1549

Members DennisDD
I've tried several different tubes in the V1 socket. The oscillation is still there. Do you mean the V1 tube itself or do you mean the circuit around V1? Dennishttp://www.folkalley.com/openmic/song.php?id=1549
