Members zoean
Just wondering what the best power amp for the XTpro is. I've heard varied comments on PA Amps being better for it's flat response, and tube power amps for their tube warmth. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

Members johanneswiberg
I've heard great tings about the Atomic Reactor (www.atomicamps.com). Otherwise try a keyboard amp, a clean SS or tube amp, or going directly to board.
Members Ballfuzz
I plugged my PodXT into my fx loop on my mesa and it sounded great. Also did that with a friends Marshall MG50DFX and it sounds great too.
Members Eddie Loves You!
Any good one will work. If you're gonna use a flat poweramp with full range speakers, use the cab sims and AIR on the pod. If you're gonna use a guitar-specific power amp and a guitar cab, turn them off. Cause the 5150 has to go

Members mctallica1
VHT 2/50/2 or 2/90/2Best Poweramps I have used to date. I like the Mesa 2:90 as well, but not as much.I just bought a Randall RT2/50 that I am very interested in checking out. It looks very cool...we shall see how it compares to the VHT-FWIW, I MUCH prefer a real power amp when using modeling gear....I am a huge modeling fan too, but flat response stuff just doesn't sound as good to me.
