I'm looking for some Pod experts out there help with some secrets or tips to get me a thick live tone (Metal/Rock). What amp model is best? What EQ settings work best, best power amp, ect... I use it to record, but also use it live. I have the Metal Shop models, but I was considering the Collector Classics as well if it was worth getting. If anyone has any good advice, hit me up. Ive never dialed one in for live use though... if I were to do that I would probably slap a 10band eq between the pod and the power amp to shape the live tone. Members starsnuffer Posted August 11, 2007 Members Share Posted August 11, 2007 Get an amp, any amp. Barring that, the big bottom model from the metal pack works well. Set the gain really low, like 2-3 on a scale of 10, and then boost it a bit with the screamer model.
