Members Nacher
Kickass man, could you share your settings on channel 4? I am progressing but I still like that channel the least. Just dime the mids on channel 4, keep treble quite (not too) high and bass rather low. Then gain around noon with hi-gain mode and add some delay and slight reverb from effects. The ultimate singing heavy lead tone, which cuts like knife. I've never found any usable hi-gain rhythm sounds from channel 4 though. In low gain it gives a nice, fuzzy rock crunch. Also, channel 2 (bright switch off) with hi-gain and loads of volume is the ultimate sludge distortion. Mids and treble high, and then add gain and bass as much as you can without making the sound muddy. For Entombed-kind of stuff, channel 2 is my main tone. And no, it does not need boosting (for those, who wonder). Channel 2 is really hungry for volume though. It has real mojo only when played loud imo. Thanx man, I just discovered with the gain at setting 8 and the high gain and bright switches on it does some killer metal rhythm. I mean really chugging metal. I wouldn;t have suspected the second channel would have that much gain, especially with EMG equipped axes it works great! I also tried boosting it with GREAT results, channel two sounds like my Marshall JCM 900 SL-X on steroids and has a lot more gain too than the Marshall. What's kind of funny is this was one of the first cool tones I got! Channel two set up like this is STILL my favorite tone I get out of the Invader. It's classic thick full-on metal and the chords grind out VERY nicely! Channel 3 seems a little darker and different.

Members Nacher
Btw, is it me, or does CH2 seem louder in Lo-gain mode, when Bright is off?I do dial in quite a lot of treble (on 3 o' clock) for the old school Marshall jangle on CH2. Bright-switch cuts some mids, so turning it off seems to make channel 2 sound louder. Dunno if it's only because the extra mids?
