Marshall AVT and Valvestates NOT Hybrids!?

Technically a hybrid has a FULL preamp or poweramp section which the AVT and Valvestates don't have. One tube does not constitute a hybrid (ask the guys at Marshall...I did) "We do not manufacture hybrid amplifiers at this time." -marshall help. Not to mention they don't advertise it as a hybrid and that word doesn't appear once on the amps description on marshallamps.com. Yet everyone refers to them as hybrids.

Makes you wonder, is this ONE tube squeezing out genuine tube tone (what takes its big brothers 4 tubes to accomplish), or is this a glorified overpriced solid state?
