Since i got my 1st tube amp the sound of my pick seems to be noticably more intrusive especially tremelo picking on the higher strings Is there anything i can do in the settings to lose this ?? thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Members shredhead7 Posted October 31, 2007 Members Share Posted October 31, 2007 Change the grip on your pick or change the pick angle on the higher strings (hit the strings flatter (parallel) and less of an angle). I have to do that, even Yngwie has stated that he does this (if you care about Yngwie or not). I know that sounds contrary to what you are asking, but there are a lot of nuances that tube amps bring out in your playing. Rest assured, in a month or so, depending on how much you practice, you'll have it down and like the variable attack of the tube amp. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
