Peavey VTM?

The local store has a Peavey VTM 60 head for $220 and I'm intrigued. I haven't got the chance to try it out yet but I wanted to get some opinions first. Any big differences between the 60 and 120? And is this really the amp that Kim Thayill used in Soundgarden?

 

Oh, and is that a good price?

I have both a 60 and 120. I like the 60 a lot more. Don't know, that particular amp just has more "mojo".

ive got a 120. if i saw another 120 or a 60 in a store for under $300 i'd definitely buy it. they're awesome amps. I like it wayyyy more than my red bear or sovtek, and better than any 5150 i've ever played through.

I like my 120 a lot. Crank the {censored} out of without a boost in front and it rocks.

 

Simple layout yet very versatile. One of the few peavey's I actually enjoy

Just to update:

I checked out the guitar this morning and you all were right, this amp is awesome. I put $50 down on it today and I'll pay it off just after Christmas.
