Members GCDEF
Almost anything's better than a 70/80. I had the one with the Tone Tubby. That sounded good.

Members EdMan57
Celestion G12H30 anyone use one in a combo ? I have a G12H-30 in my V1512 combo that sounds noticeably better than it did with the stock speaker. The G12H-30 gives up much better volume, fuller and tighter bass response and added midrange detail that gives the overdriven tones more of a modded vintage Marshall vibe.Of course at 30 watts, the V3112 will tax the speaker a bit more than does my little [but loud] 15 watt combo.I see that only being a concern if you often choose to play your V3112 at close to full volume. Members GCDEF
Celestion G12H30 anyone use one in a combo ? They're nice sounding speakers, but I'd be worried about the power handling.
Members lunarian1
I never thought power handling would be an issue ? thought it would handle no problem ...

The Celestion handles 30 watts and the amp is rated at 30 watts. I wouldn't feel very confident cranking the amp. You may get away with it, but I'd want a bit of wiggle room in there.
