Members Dragonsoni
I have been looking at this amp and I think I like it. Is this a good Combo amp for $1500.00 or should I be looking at other products/brands with similar features? Clean, Crunch and Lead Channels. Reverb would be nice. Blues, Rock, 80's, Metal. I currently have a Marshall Bluesbreaker but its really only a clean single channel amp that I run dirt pedals in front of. Would prefer more amp type distortion. I can't play the Marshall loud enough to get it to break-up where I live. Thanks
Members Sex Panther
I don't have too much experience with it...but when I played it at Guitar Center, I thought it sounded great! Listen to your ears, not your eyes. That's the best advice I can give.
Members Polaris20
It's a nice amp, but I preferred the separate 2x12 and head, personally.

I'd look for a used head, if you are not opposed to buying used gear, and a 212 cab. You could get both for less than a new combo. Also for the styles you are playing the JSX should be fine. Members Mesa/Kramer
Sounded good at Guitar Center. Look on Craigs list and save some money. I see about one per month around here. There is a half stack currently for $1,300 in Seattle Craig's.
