Members Fireside
I bought a cobra for a fair price and didn't have much cash for a cab. GC sold me a B-52 cab for a good price the middle version which is 4x12, casters, 280watts, their speakers. Question is would this cab be good to keep or should I take back and get something else? I have some more cash now but not sure if I should get something else or even upgrade the speakers in it maybe? I haven't listened to alot of cabs especially not through the cobra, but does the 52's stand up or is there better out there. It seems to be built well, but like I said I don't have alot of time with other cabs. This thing also says it has stereo in the back but has 4 plug-ins, 2 for mono and 2 for stereo. They say left and right can I use 1 amp head for this or would I need 2? The cobra has 2 speaker outs would I take the other speaker out and plug it into the other side? Sorry for such a long post, I just don't have alot of time on this stuff, and with no search function can't seem to get any answers for myself. Members Kyle DiSanto
The cobra is pretty picky with what cab you play with it...I would try it out and see how you like it first. You might like the sound...if so, keep the cab. If not, return it. ALso, I would just run the cab in mono.
