Its hard to be brutally gracefull, or gracefully brutalz. That is true, but that's not what the op said. I think there's something ridiculous about someone of ANY age to trying to convince you they're brutal and evil. But that's not even close to representing all of metal. Plenty of metal is kinda escapist, no doubt about it. But what's wrong with a little escapism? Not all music has to be hip, ironic, or mopey.
