Members JesperX
Overall in these particular clips, I think the 5150 sounds better all around. For the rhythm I did like the dryness and the stop-on-a-dime type mutes that the deliverance has though. I think the D60 boosted would sound killer since you'd still have those characteristics except with a bit more saturation.

Members mparsons
Run them in stereo, and never go back. The temptation is there... I wish the money was...
Members Osmosis
The sound quality from the camcorder mic + youtube compression is so low, and there is such a loss of fidelity that I'm pretty much laughing at everyone who has made a judgement call on a few expensive amps based on this clip. Members mparsons
I will make more in depth clips next weekend when I can actually crank the amps up and record them right. Until then I'll ponder on it.
Members Nevandal
For the rhythm and lead videos, neither amp impressed me. The clean video, the VHT sounded wayy WAY better.
Members Dr Wanker
Keep the 5150.
Members Phade21
Those would sound so good in stereo. I really like the VHT though, more fullness and complexity to the sound. If you can only have one I'd go with the VHT. It looks cooler too. I actually thought the 5150 had more fullness and complexity. It's difficult to do much comparing though unless the amp's cranked up though. To the OP, thanks for doing the videos anyhow.
Members Cerebrus
Both amps sounded really thin and harsh.
