Members bluesboy
I put new pickups in my guitar, and somehow i soldered the pickups to the opposite pots (bridge pickup to neck controls, and vice versa). im too lazy to resolder right now... does it really matter anyways? Members LaXu
They're usually the same. All that matters is whether you like how they are positioned. Personally I prefer having the bridge pickup volume and tone closer to the bridge whereas many guitars usually have it the other way around. Members bluesboy
well... when looking down on the guitar, the volumes are both on the left and the tones are on the right. what happened is that the bridge controls are now closer to the ceiling when holding the guitar in the playing position, and to use the bridge pickup my selector switch has to be up. usually its the other way around
Members LaXu
Yeah, that's how I prefer them though I have the switch wired "correctly". If I were you I'd just turn the switch around or resolder it and see if you like the way bridge controls are closer to you.
