Members icecap
I'm recording some guitar tracks (with a pod xt and audacity) but i need some way to add drums. Are there any programs out there i can grab that are fairly easy to use? I suppose i can just use guitar pro and export the midi file, but those meaningless numbers make it really hard

Members GodBlessTexas
I like EZDrummer for drum tracks (it's a VSTI) used inside of Reaper (freeware audio tool).

Members willhaven
I started with Fruity Loops but found it to be too limiting. Now I use Drumkit From Hell Superior... which is now discontinued (going to be replaced with a newer product soon). It's 35GB worth of dry audio samples. I brute force program it into MIDI tracks in Sonar and finish the editing by hand. I made my own note names for the piano roll MIDI view so I can see at a glance what note represents what kit piece.
