Members chris_d
It makes a good cranked modded marshally sound, and is really not very expensive, so why not check it out? The only minuses i can think of are that it doesn't clean up super well with the guitar volume and it really works best with the gain up at least half way. But for the cranked sound it is a lot of fun to play with. Other ones that might be worth checking out for that kind of sound are the DIY BSIABII(or CMATMODS Brownie if you don't want to do your own soldering) or even the Krank Distortus Maximus, which does a surprisingly decent modded Marshall sound, and actually cleans up pretty well. -chris
Members NaturalBornBoy
It's a wonderful stand alone distortion pedal. Very, very, very Marshall like gain structure but the only issue I have with it is that it's not a very warm pedal at all.

Members scredly
I agree that it's a really nice all around distortion pedal and that it can be a smidge harsh. But I do love it for what it does.
