Members Carcinogen
I get like this after every gig. When you play 2-3 times a month, it gets old... what could I do to help this, minus playing 'softer'? And yes, I use a {censored}ing pick :poke:
Members redeye5
no, but you might want to stop doing that

Members Carcinogen
I've thought about the whole 'tape' thing, or even going so far as to make cute lil' gloves for my fingers, but I just imagine myself dropping the pick every 30 seconds. Members Oblivion DC
Maybe you try to be more accurate with your downstrokes.
Members NaturalBornBoy
I've never seen anyone do that to themselves while playing guitar Makes me question your technique
Members TU BE
I pick VERY aggressively and I don't have this problem. Something is very wrong with your technique.
Members metalguy
yeah changing your technique will not only fix the problem but probably make you a better player rather than throwing away hundreds of bucks down the drain for tape because of your picking technique. Members Carcinogen
Something is very wrong with your technique. Thats kindof what I figured... this only happens at shows, too. Never in practices or jamming in the bed room. I think I just get a bit too caught up. It doesnt sound muffled at all when I play. Hmmm.

Members chrispsullivan
That doesn't happen to me, because I do not repeatedly smash my hand into my guitar strings. seriously, i think i would have to try really really hard to make that happen on my hand
Members NoodleFace
That happens to me when I'm shredding.. if by shredding you mean turning a blender to puree and sticking my hand inside. I do that.
Members Carcinogen
lol, the gun is my butane lighter. I was wondering how long it would take for anyone to notice... That 'stanky green' is actually Cherry Cavendish and other assorted tobaccos. I'm a cork sniffing pipe smoker The ash tray has demon heads protruding from it. Members petelaramee
If that's you in your avatar I would suggest you strum with your wrist and not your elbow or shoulder and you may think about keeping your last 3 fingers straight instead of curled up. Members Mesa4x12er2
I've done that before. Just got excited and started rocking the {censored} out hard.
