(OT) This ever happen to you while shredding?

I get like this after every gig. When you play 2-3 times a month, it gets old... what could I do to help this, minus playing 'softer'? And yes, I use a {censored}ing pick :poke:

I pick VERY aggressively and I don't have this problem. Something is very wrong with your technique.

Thats kindof what I figured... this only happens at shows, too. Never in practices or jamming in the bed room. I think I just get a bit too caught up. It doesnt sound muffled at all when I play. Hmmm.

Just out of curiosity, do you fret with your wrists?

If that's you in your avatar I would suggest you strum with your wrist and not your elbow or shoulder and you may think about keeping your last 3 fingers straight instead of curled up.

I've done that before. Just got excited and started rocking the {censored} out hard. I actually bled on my guitars. hehe it only happened once though. I played great just HARD and some times (not during leads) BAM!!

 

You just need to focus on your playing more.
