Members blargh
the single coil is nice and all, but i've always been a bridge humbucker sort of guy... and i'm a woodworking hack. Am i just going to mangle my strat's routing, or is this pretty easy to do neatly? I've got a cheap router and a set of bits. i don't really want to PAY someone to devalue my guitar, so I'd rather do it myself... and what's a nice pickup that gives a decent single coil sound when split and sounds nice in a strat? I usually prefer JBs in mahogany LP-type guitars, but I haven't tried them in an alder strat... and NO im not using those goddamn mini-humbuckers
Members guitarbilly74
you should try those goddamn mini humbuckers... some of them are really good. I love the Tone Zone S. Big PAF tone without needing to re-route the guitar.
