Members Raskolnikovs axe Posted June 17, 2008 Members Share Posted June 17, 2008 got my amp back from the shop today, not sure if the ohm switch was changed or not and i want to be sure. last year i had my cab ohms changed to accommodate my amp, which can run on 2 or 4 ohms. problem is i do not remember what it was changed to! the original load was 8 ohms. i think i remember hearing you cant go down by half, so i believe it is 2 ohms. but im not sure and dont want to fry my baby having just got her back from the shop.help! head is an ampeg svt classic and cab is an avatar 4x10 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Members trey85stang Posted June 17, 2008 Members Share Posted June 17, 2008 do you know what ohm speakers are in the cab? If they are all 8ohm then it could be 8 or 2 (or 32).
