Any other tubes you've tried, and what you thought was the best combo:love: kthnxbai:) I'm using the Mesa STR-454's which are allegedly Svetlana' and the standard concoction from Doug's Tubes (Tung Sol in the V1 and assorted everywhere else). Members nitrous2400 Posted June 26, 2008 Author Members Share Posted June 26, 2008 hmmm its time to change pre, power and rectifier tubes im sick of teh stock 440s and 5u4s ... im thinkin of going with the jjs, rubys or winged cs. and possibly the dougs tube preamp deal... ive talked to a few ppl with the kt88 and kt66 kit i was gonna get from eurotubes and none of them really felt they were walked away with anything most went back to 6l6s and sum went to el34s:idk: t:o0bz get :out abec:on u n:o haz teh rect:o n:o m:oar:cry: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
