Members v_c
WTF, is this normal with snow? (we dont get much snow here normally ). Its 2.40am, should be pitch black, but there is a eerie orange/yellow glow, and I can see for miles perfectly. I guess its the snow refracting light or some such, but hold crap it looks so beautiful

Members Unstrung
Yes it's like that in my town every winter night. Your street lamps are probably high pressure sodium lights... they project orangey gold light, my right? It bounces off the snow and the frozen water in the atmosphere and everything glows cheap orange.
