Members Romanian Reaper Posted February 11, 2009 Members Share Posted February 11, 2009 I haven't had a Wolfgang guitar in years but I do have an Aldrich in my Les Paul. I'll try to make a comparison but I'll be going off of my memory. If my memory serves me right, the Wolfgang has a more rounded tone than the Aldrich. The Aldrich is sharper and more pronounced. It is not harsh though. It definitely has more gain than the Wolfgang. The Aldrich has alot of mids and definitely is not a scooped tone type of pickup. Most people, myself included, really like the Aldrich. Mine is in my Les Paul Standard and it sounds great. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
