Members NixerX Posted February 12, 2009 Members Share Posted February 12, 2009 Ive had one for a few months. I like it. I use it for those mic'd up gigs with no space. It dose its job VERY well. I love not having to cart a pedal board and head / cab to a gig where mt splawn wont need to be turned up.If you like the 6505 / 5150 sound A Tube Vypyr might be a better option though. Members Zodiac-Is-69 Posted February 12, 2009 Author Members Share Posted February 12, 2009 Thanks I will check those out... my main rig is a VHT 50 watt tube per side stereo power amp and a GT-10 through two Marshall 4X12 speakers so I am pretty damn load when I want to be... My drummer and I do small outdoor gigs so I was looking for a tube combo that has punch and flexibility. I do love the 5150 sound so I will definitely check out the Tube Vypyr thanks! Mine isnt exactly stock anymore with a new speaker, Strymon SVpre mod (makes this amp shine) and a closed back cab.
