Members glenecho
It was.... I couldn't see the headstock issue in the pics but maybe I didn't look close enough. Even the guy who sent me my cheap Schecter Loomis bubblewrapped the headstock though I don't know if it would have helped.
Members Mr Roboto
There was. The case still has some wiggle room so the body was wedged down and the headstock was bubble wrapped and padded. Then the case was put into a gibson box which was stuffed with peanuts. Then that box was put in another box stuffed with peanuts. It sounds like he made the effort, but wrapping the headstock is a bad idea. The headstock shouldn't be able to touch any part of the inside of the case. It should be floating, so to speak. It sounds like the case may just be a little too short for it. Another inch, and that wouldn't have happened. Sad, but at least the repair seems to be undetectable. It's a good thing it didn't have a lacquer finish.

Members olgluefoot
looks great man!! headstock thing is a bummer. Id say make a claim with FedEx and try to get some $$ out of it. Obviously nothing a lil wood glue couldnt fix. But still.
