Members GomezAddams1
I have an old Marshall 2150 combo amp that was built in 1979. From what I gather, it is fairly rare. It is essentially the chassis from a 100W head (two channels, master volume) mounted in a combo cabinet with a single 12" Celestion "powercell" speaker. Does this amp have any value a vintage (old and rare) amp? I'm not looking to sell it - just curious. I tried ebay, but nothing came up in current or completed auctions. Other than being a heavy little bastard, I've been very happy with it over the 20 years that I've owned it. Oh, I've *never* re-tubed it. AFAIK, it has the original tubes (Sylvanias) that came in it. Members drewl
A great amp! They're out there. I've seen them pop up from time to time so it's not too rare.
Members Megadeth Man
No, it doesn't have any extra, innate, "rarity" value beyond being a '79 JMP.
