Members Fenix40
My birthday is coming up, and my dad who is very gracious to me has offered to buy me a new head. Something to compliment my 6505+(which I love very dearly with no complaints except for it being very noisy and having feeback from time to time) For the past year or so I've really been into a bunch of post-hardcore and post-rock. I want something huge sounding with tons of chordy type stuff, and a liquidy lead tone. Cab would be an oversized Mesa 4x12. Budget would be 1500. Right now I'm looking at: Mesa Triple Rec Framus Dragon( the tone on Controller) And a DSL. oh and inb4 spoiled brat
Members bostonrocks
Mesa Mark series? I think you can grab a mark IV for under 1500 those have awesome chords and even more awesome leads.

Members Fenix40
Framus cobra/thread See I would LOVE to have a Cobra, but everything I've heard about it has lead me to believe that its a veryyy picky amp. And that it hates V30s and it hates active pickups. Both of which I have. Oh and let me add that I want a head with good cleans considering the 6505+ majorly lacks it. Members brian_ward
good cleans and actives, generally speaking, cannot co-exist.
