Hey all. I'm having a dilemma. I have an XTC and I do love it. I am a huge fan of both Recto and Marshall type tones. What do you guys think I should do. Trade the XTC for the SLO + cash or stick with the XTC. There is absolutely no way that I can try the SLO out first, so that is definitely not an option!!

Thanks for the help!!

Comes down to what tone you're after. The SLO is raw and in your face, which can get quite fatiguing after a while, it does one tone realy well but it's not too versatile. The XTC is smoother and more pleasent on the ear, more compressed and overall slicker. The SLO is a quick response tone and is great for tight stuff where the XTC has more sag, likes to ring out and loves legato single note runs.
I've got both and prefer the XTC.
