Members denimboy Posted July 5, 2009 Members Share Posted July 5, 2009 Hi My DeVille has recently started to make a loud distortion (like a cranked Big Muff) when O play an A# on a single string. The noise comes only on that freakin' note. I tested the amp with another cab. Problem still there. I tested the amp with a different guitar. Still there.I tested the amp guitar plugged directly through the input (no effects in front or in loop). Still noise.I thought it might be a bad solder joint so I did all solder joints on Tube board. Still there. I measured the Plate Load Resistance and they're good. Schematic Diagram I'm pretty bump right now. Can it be the tubes? I know I can fix this I just need a clue! Thanks.
