They're on par with the usa jackson soloists. If I put my DC up on ebay I'd probably stick a $600 buy it now price tag on it (wishful thinking). It sounds chunky and plays real easy. Depending on what style you play the pickups might need to be changed out. I have never played the assassin model (top picture) but I would like to. I just like 'em for cosmetic reasons, if I go with the special that's a bit moot(why no natural finish?!) If i can find a used ST or NJ that's on my list too.
