Members blue2blue
Seems like not much time goes by before the topic of the interrelationship between emotional turbulence, depression, mood disorders, etc, and creativity comes up again. This article -- which doesn't deal with songwriting directly -- seems to suggest, however vaguely, more corroboration for the Breakup Effect -- that burst of creativity many songwriters, poets and other writers seem to get after the disintegration or dismantling of an emotional relationship.
