The tattoo is representative of my family's Hawaiian heritage, and incorporates the ancient Tiki (Ku -the god of war and conflict, but also of resolution and healing) along with other natural/floral elements. Kinda like this, but with the traditional birds... http://prsguitars.com/privatestock/gallery/img/ps917.jpg That is the ONLY tattoo I have ever thought 'Yeah, okay, I could do that'... something not too big, understated, hidden, personal, and topical. Just 24 frets worth of birds flying around a thin line-ribbon/wind lines over my shoulder. Sounds a little gay describing it like that, however...
