Or will the three other speakers over power any change in sound achieved from replacing one of them? Specifically - replacing a lower quality speaker someone had put in (presumably because one of the original speakers blew) with a higher quality speaker. Second question - Will I have any issues with replacing a 100W speaker with a 60W speaker in a cab with four 100W speakers? Other than reducing the overall wattage of the cab? My head is 50W/100W. Members GCDEF Posted October 17, 2009 Members Share Posted October 17, 2009 You probably won't hear much difference. You're go from a 400 watt cabinet to a 240 watt cabinet, which is still plenty.
