Boss rc-2 looping a strat through some boxes and an Egnater Tweaker.(which i LOVE btw.) please be honest with any feedback. Maybe a 2nd loop that becomes a chorus.Put them together as verse / chorus / verse / chorus and see if they invoke some lyrics in you.Shift from improvisation and structure your melody a bit.Build the parts into a song and we'll listen, and give you the next round of feedback.
