Members soilent
Definitely thinking about getting one of these. I've even got an Eminence Legend V12 I can put in it if the Sheffield sucks. Anyone got an opinion? Please excuse the bad English in the title. Members NinjaRaf
{censored}ing get it. Every one who has played one says it sounds like a 6505....With a V12 in it, it will sound {censored}ing killer!!
Members eudaimonia02912
It sounds like a 6505 with a crappy, thin speaker. Get a new speaker and you are golden.
Members Mustaine-who?
Why would you think it would sound different from any other 6505? Of course you'll have to make some compromise on the 1x12 vs 4x12...
Members eudaimonia02912
You could turn it into a head very easily and use it with different speakers. It has a slab of plywood between the tubes and the speaker, so five minutes with a circular saw makes it a head. It's not as wide as the 5150 212 combo, for what that's worth. Members Killa J
It sounds like a 6505 or a 6505+?
Members eudaimonia02912
It sounds like a 6505 or a 6505+? +, definitely. The crunch doesn't go as high gain as the 6505.
Members soilent
Yeah, I figured it would sound the same since it is the same. I was just worried about any possible issues with build quality.
Members Killa J
+, definitely. The crunch doesn't go as high gain as the 6505. Oh well. I like the 6505 more than the 6505+.
