Members TSIDistributing
Greetings from 3rd Power Amplification! We are introducing 2 new products this week at the NAMM show, the SV3015 Stereo 30W power amp and the Switchback 2x12 Stereo Cabinet. Both products will serve multiple purposes for 3rd Power and our customers. The SV3015 is a stereo 30w power amp. Each channel is also switchable to 1/2 power (15w). You can also flip the phase on either channel. There are controls for volume, presence, and push for each channel. The push feature is a proprietary design of 3rd Power which enhances the low end. The SV3015 is the perfect compliment to our HD100 head when used with (3) of our HLH312 cabinets. In this scenario the SV3015 would power the wet, stereo signal through the outside cabs. However, this power amp is also the perfect addition to modeling preamps/ software for use in a live environment. For example, used in conjunction with the Digidesign Eleven rack, the SV3015 will give you raw, tube power to compliment the tone of the Eleven. Our new Switchback 212 is a Stereo 2x12 cabinet with some very unique features. First, the cabinet has removable ports on the rear, allowing you to have either a closed back or an open back cab....or both! The internally triangular speaker chambers produce superior tone and definition. It's also built for vertical or horizontal orientation. The Switchback will be a great addition to the 3rd Power family for the player who wants a 2x12 cab to compliment our HD-100 head. This cabinet will also be a final piece of the puzzle for the ultimate live, modeling solution... As previously mentioned, you can go out of your modeling preamp into our SV3015 power amp. Then, you can go stereo out of the amp into the SB212 cab. In doing so, you are now able to run 30 watts or 15 watts of tube power into an open back or closed back cabinet. Run your Brit sounds at 15w thru a closed back speaker...run you Tweed sounds at 30w thru an open back speaker. Many possible combinations exist!! For more info, visit us at www.3rdpoweramps.com For those of you who are able to attend the NAMM show, please visit us at booth #3397. Thanks! Members isvoid
hmmm ... Is there one to match the cosmetics of the AXE-FX?
Members TSIDistributing
we've been contemplating having alternate face plates. We'll see. We certainly aren't opposed to matching the cosmetics of the AXE-FX or the Pod Pro XT for that matter...we're gonna be shipping in about a month so we better figure it out quickly! Members 13bats
TSI, Is that 30 watts a side ??? man that is a great idea for the modellers as well as any preamps .there are far too few poweramp choices that don't weigh a metric tonne and are 150 watts .. Very cool product .what the street price on these?
Members TSIDistributing
Retail pricing will be $1499 on the amp and $999 on the cab. Street price will probably be around $1299 and $799 (with Vintage 30's) respectively. With Jensen speakers, the cab will be about $100 cheaper. You're right 13bats, there aren't many power amp choices out there. We feel that with these features, at this price point, we are the absolute best solution out there. I have to say, the amp really sounds incredible. Of course, I'm biased but many folks will get to hear it at NAMM and discuss! And, yes, that is 30w per side. Switchable to 15w per side. (edited sorry that's probably more like $799 street with Vintage 30's; $1499 retail on SV3015)

Members TornadoOfSouls
I think I might like to pick one up for my Axe-FX. It was asked already but are you going to consider a matching faceplate for the Axe?
Members TSIDistributing
thanks man, I hope you do pick one up. Please email me at lance@tsidistributing.com and I'll hook you up with a dealer! And yes, we are considering a matching faceplate for the AXE-FX but have not determined if we can just yet. Members isvoid
good plan, I bet there are 10 times the number of axe-fx units out in the wild compared to the eleven rack
Members TSIDistributing
Really 10 to 1? I'm sure that will certainly help our decision!
Members TornadoOfSouls
I thought it was always cool how back in the day VHT made their 2150 in brushed chrome faceplate for the CAE +3 SE, purple for the Soldano, blue for the Bogner Fish and black for a standard color. Would be pretty cool if you guys did that.
Members isvoid
Really 10 to 1? I'm sure that will certainly help our decision! just be mindful that 78% of statistics are bogus lulz aside, it's probably far higher than that given the time both products have been on the market -- maybe cliff (from fractal audio) could provide some stats
