Members boogieman75
My heartbreaker sounds like ass as of late. On the love channel hi gain it sounds like there is a slight phase effect while going straight into the amp. It is a 96. Is it possible it's time to replace the caps or does it sound like a typical tube issue. the tubes are less than a year old with minimum use and this problem has been noticeable for awhile now. It does not happen on the lust channel so I am at a loss. May need to take to the mesa tech and have them scope it out. and I know, csb

Check TubesTry with no FX in the loop.Try new speaker cabletry going straight in to the amp....try again with diff cable/ dif guitarand last...try a diff wall socket on a separate circuit. Never had a tube amp act like this before.
Members NixerX
Do you have an FX loop mix level knob? Try that at 0. I had a Fireball that did that...if the mix was 50% it sounded Phasey.

Members Cougar Hunter
sounds like a typical parallel loop problem. the dry tone coming out of an fx unit is probably hitting the fx return a millisecond later than the parallel dry tone. My Boss SE-50 did this BIG time with my HK Access preamp.

I am pretty sure it's a serial loop
