Members gt_jumper
I loved them when they first came out, but they're a one trick pony after a few albums.

Members GuidanceOfSin
Could never really get into Eluveitie or most of the other popular bands of the folk/pagan genres. I really dig some of the more death/black influenced stuff though...M
Members Chrisjd
Great band, they have some great material and they are excellent at mixing the woodwind "forrest" instruments with the guitars.
Members mparsons
Eluveitie is not folk metal. They're generic melodeath with folk instruments.
Members GuidanceOfSin
Eluveitie is not folk metal. They're generic melodeath with folk instruments.lol, even though I agree, what do you consider real folk metal? I'd have to go with Skyclad, I guess. They were pretty much the first (yes I know there were others). Pretty much every other folk/viking/pagan band I listen to has more death or black metal influences...which is just how I like it. I do love me some Skyclad though...
