Members Sarricola_Sauce
Hi guys. I'm working on a simple truebypass loop box with an LED and a 3pdt switch. I'm ready to drill my enclosure (standard MXR-type) but I don't know what size holes to use. I'm using a standard EH 3pdt switch, 1/4 inch jacks, an LED bezel and a DC output jack. Anyone know the usual measurements for the holes? Sorry if this is a common question, I used the search function and couldn't seem to find my answer there. thanks. Members Vigilance
The switches are a weird one,i use metric drill bit up to 6mm then in with the 11mm panel punch and finish with a cone cutter.
Members dot-dot-dot
Jacks vary. 3PDTs are, I think, 12mm, bezels are 6mm? A cheap pair of calipers will tell you, or just hold the drill bit against the part you want to drill for.
