I did this last night with my 1974X and LP Deluxe... (for 3 sets)It was really liberating to just the play guitar without any distractions!By the end of the gig I was loving it....... Members timmyfirst Posted July 26, 2010 Members Share Posted July 26, 2010 i've been doing it at rehearsal a lot recently, really helps to get to know your guitar and the actual dynamics of the amp. I'm now having absolutely nothing infront of the amp, just picked up a rack for my delay and chorus parts and it'll do my tuning too so i can kiss goodbye to all those pedals and patch cables.
