Members YngwieReid
If there's any band I regret listening to online is Porcupine Tree. I started downloading with napster and found it to be a good way to check out albums. Around the napster time, there was generally only 1 or 2 songs I liked on albums, its an easy habit to form. However, PT definitely deserves money back for the time they put in. Simply incredible!!
Members Ovid9
I've heard rumor of places online you can go and buy the music and then the bands see $$$ appear. Usually some of these places have band merch that gives them $$$$$ too. I've done this a time or 4. "Acquired" some music, discovered the band was simply amazing so I bought a CD or a shirt or something to support them.

Members Dead Star
If I download an album, I buy an album. If they only have one album, I go to a show.

Even more so when a guy gets in a band and promotes a sale of his bands cd.What about the other 10,000 bands on your ipods? I figure most guys that do this would have rental spaces just to store tee shirts and such "merchandising" while supporting their bands.
