Members spawnofthesith
Hey stoner/doom/sludge guys, what tunings do you guys use for this music? Anything far out or different? I've been getting more and more into this style lately, and want to start exploring it more. Also, what tuning does Electric Wizard play in? I {censored}ing love them
Members Rizza
I think Electric Wizard uses baritone tuning (B-E-A-D-F?-B).
Members Metalman X
I don't do anything too crazy, really. I use A standard, and most my newer stuff I've been putting together is in C#. Here's an example of A standard:

Members thenakedarab
C# standard, D standard, E standard, or drop D. If they're good enough for Clutch and Black Sabbath, then they're good enough for me.

Members trailsofsin
C standard... low enough to be sludgy but still retains some bite. Playing around in A is fun though.

Well....it isn't compared to some other stuff going on out there now. Especially with extended range guitars. But A standard is the lowest I really have ever cared to go.
