Members scud133
if you can't use fx loop, you might just have to get your distortion from a pedal in front of the CCopy. problem solved
Members Hookshot
I use the CC and play on a Fender Super Reverb and a JCA50H. The CC sounds great after distortion on the Super, but I don't like it at all in front of the JCA50H. It sounded ok after I turned the "Mix" knob all the way down, but I wouldn't recommend it. Members Shenaniganizer
How do they sound in front of the (distorted) amp? I've been thinking about picking one up but the loop on the JCAs does not work with pedals and I don't want to mod them. wait, what? Why?

Members Ryan Turner
The signal is too hot for pedals. But it is an easy mod that involves adding a resistor and a cap to the effects loop circuit. VH4 figured out the values needed for bringing the loop down to 0 dB. I was going to do it but decided that I really don't need the loop to begin with. I don't use effects much and I'm too lazy to use another 2 cables when setting up.
