Members cgibsong002
Who here has an E530? I've still got the stock tubes in mine, looking to finally replace them. Have any good results with any particular tubes?

Members cgibsong002
is using two different tubes something that's more common with pre-amp tubes? the amp i've had for a long time was solid pre and tube out. i had always used matched pairs of tubes on the output. but when searching on the engl, i noticed a few people using mixed pairs. what's the reason behind this? Members Killzone
Not really any reason. Just different areas each tube accentuates.
